Then I decided I wanted the ship to do a little straight flying before it reaches the canyon so I can have the camera orbit the ship first to get a good look of it. Then I made a ship, parented the ship to the old saucer so it did the same thing I animated there… And all was good… I’m doing a tutorial, and the tutorial had me create a canyon, add a curve through it, then make a flattened ‘flying saucer’ like sphere, add it to the motion path, etc… After that, I selected the motion path, and edited the “Front Twist” attribute to rotate the ship as it banked left and right, and set a key frame every time i did this. I’ve done some searches and I guess the U Value is how you adjust an objects place/speed along a motion path?
